شارك الإقليم الكشفى العربى بتميز فى المخيم الكشفى العالمى ال54 على الهواء(جوتا) وال15 على الانترنت (جوتى) فى عطلة نهاية الأسبوع الثالث من شهر أكتوبر (تشرين الأول ) فى الفترة من 15 – 16 /10/2011 ، ولقد تميزت العديد من الدول العربية فى المشاركة مثل تونس ، السعودية ،السودان ،سلطنة عمان ، قطر و مصر
أطلق الإقليم الكشفى العربى بالتعاون مع مؤسسة (صناع الحياة) والهيئة العامة لتعليم الكبار حملة (معاً نستطيع) لمحو الأمية.
يشارك فى الحملة 12 ألف متطوع لمحو أمية 120 ألف مواطن خلال خمس سنوات وتقيم الحملة كل عام.
That was one of the main topics of the 4th Diploma in Media, communication and Scout Marketing which the Arab Scout Regional Office held in close cooperation with Al Ahram Regional Press Institute (Al Ahram Establishment), during the period 16/9 – 4/10/2011.
10 Arab NSOs were represented which included: Oman, Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Palestine, Kuwait, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt and a representative of Saudi Arabia Television.
The Arab Scout Regional Office is organizing the "Course on the Development of Training Methods and Promotion of Trainers' Skills" which lasts from 1/7 to 7/7/2011 in Cairo International Scout Center.
In spite of the prevailing circumstances in the Arab Arena, 9 Arab Countries are represented in the Course namely; Jordan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco and Yemen.
Successively for its 14th year, the Arab Scout Region extends its invitation to all rovers from all over the world to share their cultures on the land of Egypt during the International Youth Gathering which will be held during the period 9-19/7/2011, where they breathe the charm of the historical epochs (including pharaonic, Coptic and Islamic epochs), through their visits to Cairo, Giza, Alexandria & Al- Minya governorates.
Fifty scout leaders from European and Arab Scout Organizations met in the Algerian capital during the period 24-28/5/2011 to participate in the 9th Euro-Arab Gathering. Twenty one European and Arab Scout Organizations were represented in the Gathering namely; Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Mauritania, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Finland, UK and Greece.
The participants are chairmen of scout organizations, international commissioners and members of the Regional and World Scout Committees.

During the period 6-9/5/2011, the Arab Scout Region held a consultative meeting which was attended by chairman, deputy chairman and rapporteur of every Arab sub-committee (Adult Resources Development- Program and Scout Sections – Membership Growth- Community Development and Service – Co-operation with International Organizations – PR and Communications).

The Arab Scout Regional Office, in cooperation with Al Ahram Establishment which issues a magazine called "the language of the age" (one of the widest prevalent Arab magazines in the area of the Internet), organized the 2nd meeting of the executives responsible for Scouting websites. The Meeting focused on the role that can be played by social networks in enhancing the image of the Scout Movement and also use them for marketing ideas and goals. It included sessions, dialogues, workshops and lectures on topics of interest to those who work on the international network, including: communication protocols over the Internet (IPV6) / implementation on Wikilix site / web search engines and engines of knowledge and semantic web / JOTA and JOTI / Nano Digital Scouting / DNS on the Internet and Arab domains / cyber crimes and how to face them / Arab Scout websites' assessment / follow-up the implementation of Honor Scout Media Code / IPR's on the Arab and world scouting websites / Team Speak program / IRC program.
The Arab Scout Regional group for Emergency and Rescue responded on the spot to the influx of thousands of refugees and returnees from Libya as a result of the recent strive and evolution. 34 ArRO staff and scout volunteers spent 3 days in Alsaloum gate (700 Km from Cairo) at the Egyptian Libyan boarders, where thousands of refugees and returnees from different nationalities 'Africans, Asians and some Arabs' arrived are seeking shelter, food and safe passage to their homeland.
The Arab region coordinated their efforts in advance with the national authority, World Health Organization, UNICEF and the Union of Arab Doctors. The Arab Scouts Regional Office purchased, prepared, packed and dispatched hand to hand '5000 food packages, and provided the safe water supply'. The team also supported different psychosocial services for children, females and geriatrics. The scouts also provided services of charging mobile telephone for returnees to assure direct communication with their families at home. The Egyptian media covered the campaign properly and reflected the current positive role and credibility and acceptability of the scouts in community preparedness, first aid and disaster management. The Arab scouts are doing a great job in all cities of Libya and in the Libyan Egyptian and Libyan Tunisian borders
