Gone Home: Gathogo Ngugi
It is with great sadness that WOSM has learned of the passing of Mr Gathogo Ngugi, former executive member of the World Scout Bureau Africa Regional Office and Director of last summer's historic World Scout Moot in Kenya.
Mr Ngugi was injured in a car crash in Nairobi last week and was hospitalised. Having initially shown signs of recovery, this morning his condition deteriorated and he passed away aged 56.
The Secretary General has passed on the most sincere condolences of the World Scout Committee and the World Organization to Gathogo's wife and family through the Africa Regional Office in Nairobi.
May he rest in peace.
