European Citizenship

Citizenship is to do with creating responsible citizens and, therefore, an important issue in Scouting.

There are strong links between citizenship and Scouting. Both are committed to the education and creation of responsible citizens in local, regional and national communities. This Euro.Scout.Doc looks at what Active European Citizenship (AEC) is and why it should be integrated into our programme. It also gives educational objectives and guidelines for integrating AEC into your NSA’s Youth Programme.
