Networks

Having the benefits of a great “pool” of resources, flexibility and effectiveness, organising a network seems to be one of the most popular working methods in modern organisational life. The European Scout region has adopted this way of work since the European Scout Conference in Iceland (2004) and, at present, they are several networks working in Europe.

Working structures of the WOSM - European Region in the area of Adult Resources are centred around an Adult Resources Network, as part of the Educational Methods structure. Aim of the Network is to assist the European Scout Committee and the Educational Methods Team in implementing the Regional Scout Plan 2007 – 2010 concerning the strategic priority Supporting Adult Volunteers.

Relationships and Funding Team comprises of two groups, the European Policies Support Group and the External Funding Unit.

The European Regional Office is a branch of the World Scout Bureau. The European Office is located in Geneva (Switzerland) with 2 regional offices in Brussels (Belgium), which focuses more on external relations and partnerships and in Belgrade (Serbia) to support the national Scout associations in South-East Europe.
