The Academy 2010: Opened!
All the Greek gods were gathered yesterday in Athens to launch with us the beginning of “The Academy 2010”. This edition will gather 150 participants, 17 facilitators, 26 different sessions and the European staging of the Regional Communication Forum.
Tuesday evening, after a long day of preparations, 130 Scouts and Guides attending the opening of the 3rd edition of the Academy under the theme of volunteering, to prepare for and celebrate all together the 2011 European Year of Volunteering. During the week, Guides and Scouts will arrive and depart to follow, contribute and learn from the 26 different sessions proposed.
After a whole day of brain activities, the Scouts and Guides of Greece will offer different activities to discover Athens in many different ways: it will close with a great discovery game throughout the city with Rovers and Rangers!
