You might have heard about the yearly European Agoras, youth events gathering two European Rover representatives from each NSA to talk about rovering, project management, youth empowerment and involvement in decision-making, mentoring, etc. Today, this event becomes an amazing opportunity to strengthen inter-regional exchanges and launch new dynamics within the Agora itself thanks to a greater inter-cultural dimension.
Building on the experience acquired during the past five years, Agora is moving forward and transforming itself to become Inter-Regional!
How can your MO/NSO grow? What can you do to increase your growth or stop the declining membership? This is the main topic of the JUMP Growth Event taking place in Copenhagen from 26 to 29 April.
The aim of this training course is to gather organizations from the European countries to discuss and compare different designs of growth and inclusion plans that will ultimately give more opportunities to young people to participate in youth associations and therefore in society.
“Eurosea” is the European Seminar for Sea Scouting, now in its 11th edition! Its aim is to develop the international dimension within Sea Scouting and to share best practises and ideas in the development of Sea Scouting. This round event is taking place in Denmark.
Building on successful events organised in Gilwell Park, Amersfoort, Athens, Prague, Geneva and Brussels, we are pleased to invite the Chief Executives, or those holding equivalent positions, to a meeting of exchange, sharing and mutual support, prepared by the participants, for the participants, and facilitated by the Regional Directors. The event lasts 24hours – we recognise you are busy people – and helps you build your own network for follow-up. The venue is also the venue for the next European Guide and Scout Conferences, in central Berlin.
An important meeting of International Commissioners to explore their roles as the ‘Foreign Ministers’ of their organisations, to share ideas and projects, to look to the future as well as review current work. The venue will be identified by open call and selected by the Joint Regional Committees at the end of March 2012.
