Scouts organize blood donation campaign in Nepal
Scouts from Lalitpur district Scout headquarters, headed by Nepal Scouts Commissioner Shree Ram Lamichhane, organized a blood donation campaign on 15th June 2009 at the central area of Lalitpur to help hospitals in Katmandu, Nepal, that are facing blood shortage.
Prior to the blood donation program, Scouts held a grand rally, joining Nepal Red Cross Society and Blood Donors Association, to create awareness on the importance of blood donation in the community. The rally went around the city of Patan and converged in Mangal Bazar where the blood donors gathered. At least 100 people came to donate.
