UTHARAGHAND RELIEF FUND-INDIA

Kerala Scout & Guide donated Rs. 30 lakhs to Utharakhand Govt.
The Scouts and Guides divisions in the state has collected Rs 30 lakh for the Uttakarakhand rehabilitation fund. The amount was collected as donation from students in 3,000 school units across the state.There was a special drive by volunteers in all these schools on July 3 and 4 to collect the amount.A cheque for Rs 30 lakh was handed over to chief minister Oommen Chandy education minister P K Abdu Rabb in a function held at the chief minister's chamber.DPI A Shajahan, General Education Secretary K Ellangovan, Scouts and Guides State Commissioner (Scouts), Vinod Kumar, State Commissioner (Guides) P Kunjanamma, State Secretary Zakkir Hussain State Treasurer K G Babu, State Organizing Commissioner (Scout) G K Gireesh, State Organizing Commissioner (Guide) Omana V Korah, State Training Commissioner (Guide) P D Cicily, and State Training Commissioner (Scout) N Thulasidharan were present.
