Biography of Jonathan Mack
Youth Delegate of Germany to the United Nations General Assembly 2007. Jonathan, 23, has been active in Scouting since 1992, serving as patrol and troop leader for many years. In 2004 he spent one year for his civil service working in Spain in the European Youth Programme.
He co-founded several initiatives for the inclusion and empowerment of young Roma in non-formal education on local, regional and European level, where he also works as a trainer for intercultural learning and the inclusion of creative methods, especially theatre, in non-formal education. In Scouting he recently became engaged in the "intercultural opening“, more specifically for the inclusion of young migrants, based on his broad experience working with young migrants in Berlin and around Europe.
Jonathan studies Political Sciences in the Free University of Berlin.
