The 1st Scout Academy has finished
The 1st Scout Academy, the new and innovative event organised by the Region at the Centro Euro-Latin Americano de Juventud in Mollina (Spain) has finished its week-long proceedings on 26 October 2008.
More than 110 Scout leaders, representing 22 European countries, participated throughout the week in sessions covering 13 areas of work, covering a broad spectrum of issues in modern Scouting. In total, with trainers, facilitators, observers and guests, the total number of participants was 160.
The numerous formal and informal exchanges among participants and the wealth of information collected on behalf of the Region have proven the relevance and usefulness of this 1st Scout Academy.
The experience this time and the learning gained represents a good starting point for the future event in 2009.
