The Scout Association of Croatia awarded by President of Croatia Stjepan Mesic
On Wednesday 20th June, the President of Croatia Stjepan Mesic made paid special tribute to the Scout Association of Croatia (SiH).
President Mesic awarded SiH a special medal in recognition of their contribution to social, economic, cultral and public life. In his speech the President made special reference to the fact that this recognition to all members of SiH in their commitment to making Croatia a better place to live. He went to explain the award was symbol of the Croatian people thanks to SiH. SiH was awarded a special recognition, ''The Charter of the Republic Croatia''; a special award for organisations that have made a substabtial contribution to cultural, scientific and economic development in Croatia. In the Centenary year it is a further recognition that in Scouting can creatte a better world.
