On-The-Job-Training For Jacobs' Project Coordinators
The three coordinators; Ousman Jatta, Jean Marie Bwanakweli and
Holbert Jean from Gambia, Rwanda and Seychelles respectively went through this course on 24th April to 12th May. Rwanda and Seychelles have entered into the project in the second year, 2006, while The Gambia is on its last phase of the Project.
The main objective of the training was to prepare the 2 new countries in the management of the Project in their respective NSAs, while also drawing experiences from The Gambia. In the training, the participants covered such areas as Youth Programme, Adult Resources, Management, Communications and Public Relations and how these elements could be strengthened through the project. They also spent time at the Kenya Scouts Association sharing experiences.
All the concerned executives at the Africa Regional Office facilitated the course.
