Scouts from all over the world are soon heading toward Sharjah

Preparing for the 3rd international Gathering on "Scouting and Humanitarian Action"

His highness Skaikh Dr.Sultan Bin Mohamed Al-Qassimi member of the Supreme Counncil of the UAE,ruler of Sharjah welcomed both of Dr. Atif Abdelmageed ,Arab Scout Regional Director, Dr Salem Al Darmaki , chairman of the Emirates Scout association ,and their accompanied delegates in the occasion of the final arrangements of the 3rd international gathering on "Scouting and Humanitarian action,which will be held from" 17 to 23 January 2008 .This gathering will be organized by Emirates Scout association & Sharjah Scout Commission ,in cooperation with World Scout Bureau Arab Regional Office,and by the great participation of International Humanitarian NGOs & Charity associations in UAE .

It is expected that the participants number will reach to more than 200 participants representing the 6 Scout regions in the world.

More over,Dr Atif Abdelmageed and his deputy , Mr.Fathy Farghaly held two important meetings with the Emirates Scout Association Board of directors & Sharjah Scout Comission Board,and the chiefs of the gathering committees for making the special arrangements concerning visas, reception, accommodation, and the general program of the Gathering.

In Continuation to the Sharjah gatherings, His highness the ruler of Sharjah Dr Sultan Bin Momamed El-Qasemmi, sponsors travel expenses and accommodation of one Rover from each NSO in the world, and 2 rovers for each Arab Scout Organization except Arab Gulf states who are welcomed by covering all their expenses.

His highness assured that the United Arab Emirates is ready to contribute in all Humanitarian Actions for those in need all over the world.
