NAIROBI - Le dimanche 21 Février 2010, des milliers de Scouts se sont rassemblés à Nyeri afin de célébrer la Journée annuelle du Fondateur. La cérémonie a été présidée par le Vice Président du Kenya, Son Excellence Kalonzo Musyoka - qui est également le Commissaire Général de l'Association des Scouts du Kenya - et l' ancien président de l'assemblée nationale kenyane M. Francis ole Kaparo - Chef Scout du Kenya. D'après le comité organisateur, l'événement de cette année a été le plus grand de l'histoire.

رعى صاحب السمو الأمير فيصل بن عبد الله بن محمد آل سعود رئيس الكشافة العربية السعودية وزير التربية والتعليم حفل انطلاق البرنامج الوطني لحماية البيئة يوم أمس الثلاثاء في روضة خريم90كم شرق العاصمة الرياض بحضور مدير الصندوق الكشفي العالمي (جون قيقان) وأمين المنظمة الكشفية العربية الدكتور عاطف عبد المجيد. وفور وصول سموه عزف السلام الملكي، ثم تجول سموه والضيوف الكرام في المعارض المصاحبة وفي ختام المعرض اطلع سموه على جناح جمعية الكشافة وعرض لعدد من الفعاليات والأنشطة التي تنفذها، واختتم المعرض بالتوقيع على ميثاق البيئة.

“Preparing for the CNV has been a rare opportunity to synchronize our reports. We took a closer look at every department of the organization as part of an integrated whole”, said Hong Seung-Soo, Secretary General of KSA. Dr Young Joong Kang, President of KSA welcomed the Committee NSO Visit (CNV) team and encouraged a high level of sharing and transparency for CNV Korea which was held from 11th to 13th March.

Location: Moldova, Orhei (45 km north from Chisinau)
Transport: Chisinau can be reached by bus, train or plane. In Chisinau the members of the organizing committee will meet all the participants. The place where the Jamboree will take place can be reached only by car.

The Objectives of the Jamboree:

• Promoting the Scout method in the Eurasia Region countries on the basis of traditions and cultural particularities of each country;
• Strengthen the unity of the Scout movement, development of mutual understanding and cooperation in Scouting.

The first step…Training of Trainers in Bulgaria took place from 11 to 14 March with a lot of energy, debate, involvement and commitment.

Au terme d'un processus mené en collaboration et en plein accord avec le Comité Régional Interamérique du Scoutisme, Luc Panissod, Secrétaire Général du Scoutisme Mondial a nommé M. Raul Sanchez Vaca, du Mexique, en qualité de nouveau Directeur Régional du Bureau Mondial du Scoutisme, Bureau Régional Interamérique.
