Danish International Development Agency
The Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) is an organisation inside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
Reduction of poverty is a primary goal for DANIDA; other priorities include empowerment of women, environmental conservation, development of democracy and protection of human rights. DANIDA has programmes and projects running in twenty one different countries, many of them being carried out in conjunction with a partner. DANIDA also supports other projects by funding other NGOs.
