The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency
The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) is a Swedish government agency that focuses on providing technical assistance and funding all over the world.
In particular, SIDA pursues initiatives that foster economic growth, economic and social equality, economic and political independence, democratic development, environmental protection and gender equality. These projects are often targeted in countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Central and Eastern Europe. SIDA's partners include other NGOs, international organisations and government agencies.
