Hong Kong hosts APR Financial Resources Sub-Committee Meeting

Members of the APR Financial Resources Sub-Committee met together in Hong Kong on 14th June 2008, hosted by the Hong Kong Scout Association.

Attended the meeting were Chairman Horace Ho of Hong Kong along with his Committee Members Ian Langford-Brown (Australia), Konosuke Kobayashi (Japan), Sutham Phanthusak (Thailand), Chan Ah Sang (Malaysia), Ho Chee Heng (Singapore), Dicky Surjadi Hidajat (Indonesia), Winston Jacob (Papua New Guinea) and Mr Rabin Dahal (Nepal). APR office was represented by Regional Director Abdullah Rasheed and APR Director Mr S Prassanna Shrivastava.

Among the discussion items were the plan to produce the Fundraising Guidelines; the National Workshop on Building Financial Capabilities this year and the plan of supporting national Scout organizations (NSOs) in strengthening their financial management system and building capabilities.
