On the afternoon of the 19th July 2010 the 20th European Scout Conference elected the following volunteers as members of the European Scout Committee for the term 2010-2013;
50 Participants from all around Europe met at Guadarrama, near Madrid, Spain for the Training Commissioners Network Meeting. A very intensive and active event produced a lot of exchanges and new ideas for work and cooperation.
Ever since its inception, The Academy has grown in many perspectives, with the edition just held having more than 200 participants and many learning opportunities delivered through 25 different sessions.
The joint event for training of new members of National Boards took place in Istanbul, Turkey – the Asia side – from 24-28 November.
WOSM – European Region organises the volunteering event in Istanbul, Turkey from 24 to 29 March 2011. Aim of this event is to provide to national Scout associations a space for discussing and sharing experiences on the theme of volunteering as key element to promote active citizenship among young people and youth non – governmental organisations.
The aim of the Chief Volunteers’ Event is to provide a space for Chief Volunteers – Chief Scouts, Chief Guides, Chief Commissioners to meet, to network, and to share good practice and ideas.
From the 14th to the 17th of April 2011, Kandersteg International Scout Centre will host the 4th European Agora. About 35 members of the last age section from all over Europe will inspire each other to re-discover Rovering.
It’s the time to share experiences, knowledge, practices with our brothers and sisters of the Arab Region. Every two years, the two regions meet. The next meeting will be in May 25-29, in Algiers, Algeria. Join Us!
European Regions of WAGGGS and WOSM organising 12th European Guide and Scout Centre Managers Conference. The Conference will take place at the Centre National de Formation des Scouts & Guides de France, Jambville, France between 19-23 of October 2011.
