Eurasia Scout Region photo contest – “Catch the Moment in the Movement!”

Changing image and perception! Sharing best pictures and emotions! Being closer to each other excluding boarders, differences and language barriers

First Eurasia Scout Region photo contest – “Catch the Moment in the Movement” started in November and ended before New Year. First experience of such joint communicational activity for Eurasia Region attracted more 300 Scouts and leaders from all NSOs of Eurasia Region. They shared more 390 unbelievable amazing photos, the best ones from their Scout life.

Pics were fanny and serious, shows differences in Scouting even in the same small country, introduce a lot of new small patrols and their great achievements… photos with warm of feelings and photos helping us to recognize the problems around. Also they raised a lot of questions, discussions and - as an expected result – ideas about future steps, new scout projects, cooperation, new achievements…

This activity was a first from a planned panel of contests, so the process and results show to all participating scouts how they can deal and communicate easily in the Regional framework, gave an ideas for partnership and better communications between National Scout Organizations and Regional Office, possible variations of make hi-quality branding events.

For Eurasia Regional Office staff it was a good example of creating a platform for easy and available communications with NSOs on a very hi-speed level and immediately reaction. First experience shows where and how we can change an image of scouting in our countries and enjoy more people as scouts!
