APR Scout Training Pool

The APR Scout Training Pool is a team of experienced trainers who can provide services/support to the Asia-Pacific Region (APR) and National Scout Organizations (NSOs) in the field of training of adults.

The APR Scout Training Pool is formed to promote and strengthen the priority area - Volunteers In Scouting - emphasizing the participation of adult leaders in international activities.

At the same time, NSOs can request the services of the team members by reporting their training needs through the Asia-Pacific Regional Office. Therefore, National Scout Organization’s are encouraged to nominate possible candidate(s) for the APR Training Pool.

The nominees must possess the skills and knowledge for delivering sessions in adult training and specialization areas. The trainers would be invited to serve in workshops, seminars and training of adults at national and regional levels, such as Unit Leaders Training Courses, Course for Assistant Leader Trainers, Course for Leader Trainers, Unit Leaders’ Roundtable.

Please take note that the Training Pool Information Sheet, should be completed with full detail required and should be endorsed by the candidate’s National Scout Organization before sending to the APR Office.

The acceptance of membership to the APR Scout Training Pool will be notified to the concerned NSO by the APR Office. Please refer to the Guidelines and Information Sheet which are available for download.
