The participants of the conference discussed the situation with the development of Scout Organizations in the Region. They were also informed about results of a research “ Youth and Scouting in the Eurasia Region”. Presentations were also made by representatives of the Boy Scouts of America, the Japanese Scout Association, and the Korean Scout Association. The conference passed a number of important documents, in particular, on holding the fourth conference of the Eurasia Regional Scout Organization in September, 2010, in Batumi (Georgia) and the second regional scout jamboree in 2010 in Moldova.

On the eve of the conference following an initiative of some scout organizations, a regional workshop “Resources of Scouting in the Eurasia Region” was held on September 13-14, 2007, for a deeper insight into the study of problems faced by Scouting in the region. In the preparation and running of the workshop the delegates of the conference were assisted by Russian and Ukrainian scientists.
