Each year, in conjunction with the Europe Region WAGGGS, the European Scout Region prepares a series of events to support Scouting and Guiding in Europe.

Aim

The goal of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for networking, sharing and learning together for chief volunteers in an informal environment.

Aims and Content

  • Discuss issues of mutual relevance and other important topics
  • Strengthen existing and form new networks to develop the influencing role of Guiding and Scouting
  • Co-ordinate the approach to Youth Policy in Europe
  • Provide training for National and European representatives
  • Motivate participants for further involvement in Youth structures

This Toolkit is the basic support resource offered by the WOSM – European Region resulting from four workshops run by the Region between 2006 and 2008. The toolkit aims to help associations to design or renew their training systems.

The Lands of Adventure programme for young people aged 11-16 will provide inspiration, guidelines and examples of good practice for National Scout Associations in order to develop their programme and relevant tools. (European Scout Region Strategic Plan 1998 -2007)
