WSB, Africa Office conducts Senior Management Conference (SMC)
NAIROBI - Hot on the heels of the World Scout Conference, the Africa Scout Regional Office conducted a Senior Management Conference (SMC) between 24 and 30 September 2008 at the regional secretariat in Nairobi, Kenya.
Participants included WOSM's Acting Secretary General Luc Panissod; Regional Committee Members, Marcel Blaguet, Naivasha Miriti, Chris Mbanga and regional executives, Winston Adams, Lamine Diawara, Jim Kastelic (and his Assistant Jonathan Omondi), Euloge Ishimwe, Jacques Sandrizi, Guy Banafai, Elzette Balgobin. The rapporteurs were Ann Leparan and Pauline Kibugi.
Said Winston Adams – the Acting Regional Director - at the end of the Conference, ''We are all very happy to have been able to participate in the SMC so eagerly anticipated. Many important matters have been discussed [...] the way forward was not only for the 2008 – 2009 fiscal year, but indeed for the completion of the ten-year development plan in 2011''. He stated during an interview conducted by the Communications Unit.

- How to bring better service to Africa's Scout Associations
