Gone home, Dr. Doumbia Gnamakolo

On Friday 8th May 2009, the President of Fédération Ivoirienne du Scoutisme (FIS) passed away after a long illness at the age 55 years. He was married and a father of 5 children. Dr. Doumbia Gnamakolo was a member of the Africa Scout Foundation and was a member of the Africa Scout Committee from 1998 to 2004.

Moreover, in 1987 he founded the "centre scout de formation Baden Powell" (Baden Powell Scout Training Centre) in Abidjan. He also took part in several Scout events including 6 World Scout Conferences, namely: Thailand, Norway, South Africa, Greece, Tunisia and Korea.

May he rest in peace
