Saudi Prince visits World Scout Jamboree
Prince Mohammad bin Nawaf the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in the UK has visited the Saudi delegation at the 21st World Scout Jamboree in the presence of Dr Abdullah Al Obaid the Minister of Education, who is also the president of the Saudi Arabia Boy Scout Association, and his deputy Dr Abdullah Alfahad. Dr Abdullah Alfahad officially opened the Saudi delegation's exhibition and met with the Scouts.
The Prince then participated in several workshops at the Global Development Village where there is a project taking place to create the longest painting about peace.
Throughout the Jamboree, the Saudi Scouts will be hosting various events to highlight the nation's culture, including their participation in the Hajj and Omra and exhibitions of traditional dancing.
This is the largest Saudi contingent to ever attend the Jamboree with more than 120 participants and adult leaders taking part in the event.
