A group of German Scouts initiated a project called “Book Bridge Mongolia” which aims to fill the lack of English textbooks that will significantly help young people of Mongolia in their educational development.
The first day of July marks the most important day for Scouts in Thailand as Scouting in this country turns 98 this year.
The “Committee NSO Visit” (CNV) is the third of a series of activities happening in Mongolia from 17th to 19th June 2009 at the capital, Ulaanbaatar.
To provide opportunity for young people to get more involved in decisions making and to interact with other Scouts from overseas, the National Scout Organization of Thailand (NSOT) organized the 2nd Thailand International Scout Youth Forum 2009 at the Phuket Scout Camp, Phuket Thailand from 10th – 15th June 2009.
Scouts from Lalitpur district Scout headquarters, headed by Nepal Scouts Commissioner Shree Ram Lamichhane, organized a blood donation campaign on 15th June 2009 at the central area of Lalitpur to help hospitals in Katmandu, Nepal, that are facing blood shortage.
