Interamerican Scout Conference

The Interamerican Scout Conference, maximum body in the Region, is composed of delegates of the national scout member organizations and meets every three years.

Its purpose is:

Stimulate the Scout Movement development in the Interamerican Region.
Promote cooperation among member organizations.
Set the objectives and the basis of the Regional Policy.
Ensure the implementation in the Region of the policies established by the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
Elect the members of the Interamerican Scout Committee.

At its meetings the world authorities of the Scout Movement and observers of various national and international governmental and non-governmental organizations, which have common interests with the Scout Movement, are invited.

Each National Scout Organization has the right to vote in the Conference session, and if one cannot attend, they can use the proxy vote.
