Latest Published ArticlesDuring a meeting of the European Scout Region at the 38th World Scout Conference in Jeju, Korea, the European Scout Committee took the opportunity to present its Annual Review covering the period from June 2007 to June 2008. Here you can see the Members of the European Scout Committee Governance Subitems :NetworksHaving the benefits of a great “pool” of resources, flexibility and effectiveness, organising a network seems to be one of the most popular working methods in modern organisational life. The European Scout region has adopted this way of work since the European Scout Conference in Iceland (2004) and, at present, they are several networks working in Europe. Latest Published ArticlesThe aim of this Network, is to strengthen and develop co-operation between Scout and Guide Centres around Europe and to help build strong working relationships and contacts between the staff at those Centres. The Network organises every 2nd year (since 1989) a Centre Managers Conference and topics will include areas of common interest to Centres, such as staffing, safety, fund raising, as well as more specific subjects offered by the participants. Sessions will be run by participants and by invited guests. Working structures of the WOSM - European Region in the area of Adult Resources are centred around an Adult Resources Network, as part of the Educational Methods structure. Aim of the Network is to assist the European Scout Committee and the Educational Methods Team in implementing the Regional Scout Plan 2007 – 2010 concerning the strategic priority Supporting Adult Volunteers. |

The European Office is located in Geneva (Switzerland) with 2 regional offices in Brussels (Belgium), which focuses more on external relations and partnerships and in Belgrade (Serbia) to support the national Scout associations in South-East Europe. |
