European Scouting raises the issue of restrictive practices and policies to the agenda of European Parliament.

Participants are saying goodbye but knowing that they will meet again at the next Growth Network in May.

This is the programme of regional seminars and events planned for 2009. It is based on the work plans adopted by the Europe Conference WAGGGS and the European Scout Conference and the European Guide and Scout Conference held in Slovenia in May 2007, and on the Priorities defined in the joint actions adopted by the Europe Committee WAGGGS and the European Scout Committee.

The Forum on Youth Programme and Adult Resources, held every second year by the Region is an outstanding opportunity for National Commissioners and members of their teams to come together with their peers, sharing knowledge, experience, ideas, opinions, values and practical tools.

Many associations are currently renewing their Training Systems and looking to maximise the success of both the management and delivery of training offered. The WOSM - European Region prepared the Training System Toolkit to support associations in updating their Training Systems. Now, we offer you a Workshop to present possible solutions and help associations in that process.

This Toolkit is the basic support resource offered by the WOSM – European Region resulting from four workshops run by the Region between 2006 and 2008. The toolkit aims to help associations to design or renew their training systems.

The Lands of Adventure programme for young people aged 11-16 will provide inspiration, guidelines and examples of good practice for National Scout Associations in order to develop their programme and relevant tools. (European Scout Region Strategic Plan 1998 -2007)
