ARO baby is born, 11 days before Baden Powell's birthday!
February is the month in which the Founder of Scouting, Lord Baden Powell, was Born. In Fact, on 22nd February 2008, the Kenya Scouts Association, like other Scouts from all corners of the world, will be celebrating the 'Founder's Day', in Nyeri, Kenya.
Several miles from Nyeri however, in Nairobi, a great bouncing baby girl, 3.6 kgs, was born on Monday 11th February 2008, at around 1pm at Masaba Hospital. Mr Jacques Sandrizi, whose birthday is 22nd February – like BP, is the happy father of the newborn. Mr. Jacques is the Sub-Regional Manager, Great Lakes and Central Africa at the World Scout Bureau, Africa Office.
While the new Baby ARO, like her father, was born in February, Jacques' elder daughter was born in May like her mother Mrs. Phanice Sandrizi. The new baby shares a birthday with Jennifer Anniston (Actress) and Kelly Rowland (Musical Artist).
