Two families join the World Scout Foundation's Regal Circle
Dr Charlotte and Dr Eberhard von Koerber of Switzerland together with Mr and Mrs Sung Hak Baik of South Korea, are the latest global business leaders to join the World Scout Foundation's Regal Circle, with the announcement of the couples donating gifts of USD1 million each to the Foundation Endowment Fund, which helps support World Scouting.
Speaking in Seoul, Mr Baik, Chairman of the Young An Hat Company and active philanthropist, spoke of his commitment to helping young people change their world for the better.
Dr Eberhard von Koerber, who for many years was the Chairman of the World Scout Foundation, has been instrumental in the development of the WSF strategy, which affords a substantial portion of its income to World Scout activities each year.
The von Koerbers and Sung Hak Baiks join the Jacobs of Switzerland, the Joullians of USA, the Kilroys of Ireland and the Cronks of USA in this growing group of inspiring leaders.
