ARO releases a triennial report on Scouting in Africa

NAIROBI - In the annals of Scouting in Africa, the period 2005 - 2008 has perhaps been one of the most eventful eras. Whilst there was no shortage of challenges, as you read this report you will be pleased to learn that significant progress was made.

Thus, the main purpose of this report is to highlight plans, challenges, achievements and recommendations ahead of the 14th Africa Scout Conference to be held in Accra, Ghana, in November 2009.

To this end, this report gives a detailed account of the status quo in terms of Youth Programme, Adult Resources, Communications, Management and Partnerships/Projects.
