فى احتفال كبير بالإقليم العربى ومواكبة لافتتاح أعمال المنتدى الإقليمى للاتصالات وبحضور حشد كبير من رجال الصحافة والإعلام وقنوات التليفزيون وقادة الجمعيات الكشفية العربية المسئولين عن العمل الإعلامى بالجمعيات أنطلقت العلامة الكشفية الجديدة، وقد لوح الجميع مبتهجين بعلم يحمل العلامة.
فى جنيف فى الثامن من ديسمبر 2006،عينت اللجنة الكشفية العالمية رئيساً جديداً لمجموعة عمل مراجعة مبادىء الإدارة الرشيدة ،كما قامت اللجنة أيضاً بإجراء التقييم الأول للسكرتير العام.
روما – 24 نوفمبر 2006 التقى الدكتور /إدواردو ميسونى السكرتير العام للمنظمة الكشفية العالمية فى روما الأسبوع الماضى بالسيدة/جيوفانا ميلاندرى – وزيرة السياسات للشباب والرياضة الإيطالية والسيد/لوكا بيرجامو- المدير العام لمنظمة " Glocal Forum"وأثناء الاجتماع عرض السكرتير العام والسيد/بيرجامو موضوع ملتقى الشباب لعام 2008الذى تنظمه المنظمة وهو عبارة عن نوع من المساهمة تم تطويرها كشراكة جديدة بين المنظمة الكشفية العالميةومنظمة"" Glocal Forum".
The Macau forum leads a series of regional communication forums to be held in the regions - Africa, Arab, Europe/Eurasia, and Inter-America starting in November until February 2007. Named as the “first stop…” of the series, it was held on 24-26 November 2006 at the Fortaleza de Taipa in Macau having 34 participants from 19 National Scout Organisations.

Friday 1st December is World AIDS Day. This annual event was created to focus global awareness on the pandemic and generate positive action to stop the spread of HIV and eradicate AIDS.
Secretary General Dr. Eduardo Missoni has appointed Ms Anne Whiteford, from United Kingdom, as Executive Director of the Education, Research and Development Department of World Scout Bureau, Central Office (WSBCO).
During the days 14, 15 and 16 of October, in Unquillo, Córdoba; the Camp was developed for denominated Rovers EcoMoot 2006 - “Getting dirty, playing cleanly”. This was an initiative of the Scout Group “Tinku Huairaspa" that counted with the support of the Area 22 – Scouts of Argentina.
Philippe Pijollet passed away on Friday 17 November 2006. The former Director of Adult Resources at the World Scout Bureau, which he joined in 1974, Philippe was a brilliant pioneer in the field of human resources management, continuing the tradition of innovation in Scouting.
Geneva, November 20th marks Universal Children's Day- a day to be observed as a day of worldwide fraternity and understanding between children.
