Motivation in Scouting

Motivation is an issue in everything we do in life. Here we look at motivation and its relevance and importance to Scouting.

For Leaders, motivation comes in many forms - self-motivation (to go the weekly meeting, clean the Scout Den, develop the programme, organise a large international camp, etc.) and motivating others (Leaders and members).

This Euro.Scout.Doc evaluates the importance of motivation in all aspects or Scouting. It discusses what motivation is, how it differs from inspiration, how it relates to the different levels of Scouting and how best you can motivate yourself and those around you.
