يعتبر برنامج "منح السلام"برنامجاً أساسياً لجميع الكشافين لمناقشة القضايا المحلية وإحداث نوع من التنمية فى المجتمعات المحلية – وهى طريقة مناسبة للاحتفال بمئوية الحركة الكشفية.

فى الأول من أغسطس 2007،سوف يحتفل ملايين من الكشافين والكشافين القدامى حول العالم بفجر قرن جديد للحركة الكشفية ويمثل هذا الاحتفال يوم خاص للإحتفال بماضى وحاضر ومستقبل الحركة الكشفية.

The World Scout Jamboree is the largest regular event organised by the Scout Movement.

It takes place every four years in a different country. It is above all an educational event to promote peace and understanding among young people all over the world.

The World Scout Youth Forum provides an opportunity for young members of World Scouting to discuss and express their views on issues of interest to them.
