Scouts of the World Environment Bases
Our natural environment is very important for the youth of the world as it is intricately linked with the health and opportunities we have for the future. There are many ways in which individual citizens and groups of people are working towards an environmentally sound future and we want to hear your story.
The three main themes of Peace, Development and Environment form the Scouts of the World Award, linking in to the United Nations Millennium Development Campaign. A strong partnership has been formed between the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) to support, amongst other things, the development of Scouts of the World Environment Bases.
