Houens Odde International Scout Centre
Houens Odde is placed in the centre of Denmark and definitely has a place in the history of the kingdom. In 1947 the Scouts were offered to buy Houens Odde and less than a year later the purchase was reality..
At Houens Odde International Scout Centre you can take on the challenge of experiencing a great range of activities; from pre-historic activities (candle making, leather work, wood carving) to archery, axe throwing, GPS trial, sailing plus many more activities both on land and on the sea.

We do not have that many things as it is now, but we will like to do much more!

At Houens Odde International Scout Centre we think it is very important to preserve the beautiful nature around us. We ask users of the centre to: Protect the area, especially new planting, slopes, and the bark of the trees. Please help to protect the wildlife the environment by throwing litter in the the bins provided.
Due to the varied animal life of the centre we ask you not to bring dogs with you, or to keep them on a lead at all times.
Kidholmene:
The islands off the shore of Houens Odde are special nature reserves. Because of this your group can only visited between 15th August and 1st April. If you would like to visit the island please arrange it with the centre.
